The 2023-2024 scholarship applications will be available on the district and school website beginning in mid-December. The application is due to the Guidance Department the first week in January (date will be announced). Awards will be presented at the Senior Award Night Ceremony.
Our Scholarship Awards
Our scholarship awards for 2023-2024 will be in alignment with past years. Given that awards for the past few years were record setting in both number of recipients and total amount granted, we are hoping for another great year. Beginning in 2020, a new scholarship was awarded: Audrey Tanzillo Lionhearted Memorial Scholarship $1000. In the 2021-22 school year, we separated the scholarships to allow for a larger variety of GPAs.
The following is a target guideline based on potential booster funds raised:
At least two $1,000 scholarships for Ultimate Students
At least two $500 scholarships for Distinction, Excellence, Success, and Perseverance each
For a total scholarship awards of $7,000 or more!
Our criteria will include: Student Academic performance, ACT/SAT Scores, Curriculum Strength (Honors/AP courses), Written Essay, Activities/Work Experiences, Community Service, Leadership, Accomplishments, Honors or Recognition, Additional consideration will be made for technical, trade, special needs and non-traditional post-secondary applications.
